Question

Has anyone had the app stop calculating GST on invoices since the last update? Can you help fix this?

The app in my Samsung Note 10 recently had a major update that is interfering in my ability to invoice unless I eat the tax myself. It all worked fine previously.

Let’s work together to troubleshoot and ensure your taxes are calculated correctly on your invoices, kew.

At times, cached files in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app create issues. Addressing these problems involves using the app's refresh data option to retrieve the latest information.

Here are the steps you can follow to refresh app data:

  1. Open the QBO app and tap the Menu option.
  2. Press All, then select Intuit Account & Settings.
  3. Scroll to find the option Refresh Data.
  4. To confirm, tap Refresh Now.

When the issue continues, the next step involves clearing the app’s data to refresh the application and address potential causes of the problem.

Here's how:

  1. Open your device’s settings.
  2. Tap on Apps.
  3. Find and select the QBO app from the list.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Choose Clear Data to remove stored files.

If the issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall the app to provide a fresh start with updated settings and fixes.

Meanwhile, you can access your QBO account through a web browser to create and manage your invoices accordingly.
