If you are referring to a payroll tax payment, you can delete a scheduled payment as long as it is within the required lead time and has not been processed yet. You can check if this is possible by looking for an active Delete button next to the payment.
Here's how:
1. Go to All Apps > Payroll and choose Payroll taxes.
2. In the Payments tab, scroll down to the SCHEDULED section.
3. Select the tax payment you want to cancel and click the Delete button if available.
However, if you are referring to a sales tax payment instead, please contact the CRA regarding its cancellation, as sales tax payments are handled externally and cannot be managed or canceled within QuickBooks.
