Welcome back to the Community. I'll be happy to show you how to navigate the program so you can add links to websites in your default sales email message.
QuickBooks is a versatile program that makes it easy to manage your sales forms. In order to edit the default email message, click on the Gear icon > Account and Settings > navigate to the Sales tab > click on Messages and from here you can add the website links to the template. Once you're done, make sure your changes are saved and you should be good going forward with the website links showing on the email messages on your sales forms.
Let me know if this info helps. I'll be one message away if you need anything. Otherwise, I wish you a great rest of the week.
I should have been more clear. I want "text" to appear, but be clickable to https://www.somewhere.com The web sites I need to link to have very long addresses, or are tiny urls which look awkward. I would also like to bold some text.
There isn't the option to hyperlink websites to plain text on invoices and other transactions created in QuickBooks Online, so the websites would need to be pasted as URLs in the description of products and services, or in the Message on invoice section. There also isn't the option to bold the text in forms. I can see that these functions would be features that you'd like to see to help personalize the invoices sent to your customers. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback, as these comments are considered when designing new features for the software.
