Question

How do I correct HST reports prepared prior to converting from QB Desktop to QB online?

The conversion was done mid-year and the final year end HST report is not showing the quarterly payments made - but the final total on Line 113C Balance agrees with what was owed and paid.

Hello, David434. Since your quarterly payments aren't showing up in your reports, even though your Line 133C balances align with what was owed and paid. It could be due to your HST report date period not covering the entire fiscal year.

Here's how to fix it:

  1. Navigate to the All apps menu, and select Sales Tax.
  2. Click the Reports dropdown, and choose the report you wish to run.
  3. Ensure that the entire fiscal year is included in the Report period selected or All dates.

However, if it still doesn't show up after adjusting the Report period, you can use the Sales Tax adjustment feature to record the quarterly payments, so they appear on your report.
