Thanks for joining us again here in the QuickBooks Community. I know how useful it can be to break down your sale month by month to get a sense of how your business is doing. I've got a few areas in QuickBooks Online that I'd like to point you to so you can see your monthly sales.
When you have a certain set of data you want to see in your books, turning to reports is the perfect option. In the Reports tab, there are a number of useful reports for your accounting needs, including Profit and Loss reports or sales-specific reports that can be customized and filtered to show you the information you're looking for. For instance, you could run the Profit and Loss by Month report to see a monthly comparison of your expenses and revenue. There are also transaction reports that you could filter to show just sales. Here are a couple of articles that can help.
Another spot that you can get a sense of your sales is from the Dashboard page in your account. The Dashboard has a number of tiles that show you various bits of data for your company, including a Sales graph. You can filter right there by clicking the down arrow on the graph to change the date. For a more precise view, I recommend reviewing reports, but this can give you a quick glimpse.
I hope this helps. Feel free to leave a reply if you've got more questions. I'm here to help.
