I am trying to undo an HST file so I can make changes to it but it says to delete the payment first there BUT is no payment to delete, how do I fix this?

Based on the details you've shared, you'd need to unfile the taxes in QuickBooks in order to reflect the correct info going forward. Before we get started, it's important to note that only accountant users can unfile taxes on an account. If you're using QB Online Accountant, follow these steps to unfile your return: 

1. From the left menu, select Taxes.
2. Click on Sales Tax.
3. Navigate to the Returns tab.
4. Locate the sales tax filing that you'd like to un-file.
5. Under the Action column, open the drop down menu to view options.
6. Select Undo filing.
7. A window will appear asking Are you sure you want to go back? Review the information displayed and click Undo filing.
8. A notification will appear next to your open filing, highlighting the date that the return was reopened.
