I have always used the Sales tax menu to file HST returns but an accountant bi-passed & did journal entries. How can I adjust the sales tax menu to reflect totals?

Journal entries won’t affect the balance in the Sales tax page. To mark this balance as paid, you'll need to record the payment in the Sales tax page directly. Also, it’d be best to delete the Journal Entry to avoid duplicate transactions in your accounts. Just open the Journal Entry, click More at the bottom and select Delete.
