Sale Tax Calculation

Hello,

I've enabled "Apply Sales Tax" (15% for P.E.I. Canada) to two $1000 items. So, the total tax should be $300 but QB Self Employed keeps showing me $260.87. That's incorrect, no? What am I missing here?

Looking forward to the help,

T

Hi Zenith_Pictures,

Welcome to Community!  It's essential that your sales tax is accurate and applied correctly to your invoice and expense transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.  I'd be happy to point you in the right direction so you can complete your QuickBooks goals with peace of mind.

Based on the information you've provided, I recommend review the sales tax set up.  If the issue persists, please contact QuickBooks Self-Employed support.  They'll have the ability to work with you independently and look further into this from their end.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have other questions.  We'd be glad to assist!
