Question

When reviewing transactions for expenses, it's asking Zero-rated (0%), Exempt (0%), Out of Scope (0%) or HST ON (13%). Why is it asking that? Isn't this for Sales?

Hello, icrate-ecommerce.

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community for support. I'd be happy to provide some information.

QuickBooks Online provides the option to add sales tax to your transactions. This includes expense. If you're not using taxes on expense, you can review this article which provides a list of common sales tax codes you can use.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back out.
