Question

Why I only have one tax option in my drop box ( out of scope) I needed another type of tax as choices, how do I add?

It's vital that you have the appropriate sales tax set up, based on your company information and business needs.  I can see how only one sales tax option would be of concern.  Having the ability to manage your sales tax in QuickBooks Online is a valuable feature.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

To add a new sales tax code, follow these steps:

 

1. Select Taxes from the left menu

2. Open the Sales Tax tab

3. Click on Manage Sales Tax

4. Choose Add Tax

5. Hit Add, next to the appropriate tax type and follow the prompts to complete the set up
