Yes, you can file your sales tax electronically if your business operates in one of the six states that have the e-file service available in QuickBooks Online.
If your state is included, here are the steps to file your sales tax:
Go to My apps, select Sales, then Sales tax returns.
From the Action column, select File return.
Select Add now to enter the tax details. You can also Edit if you need to make any changes.
Follow the on-screen steps.
Verify the tax details and add your payment information. Then, select the By submitting this paymentI hereby: checkbox to acknowledge the declaimer.
Select File and Pay.

If your state is not on that list, you will need to e-file on your tax agency's website or send your return by mail. After you file your sales tax return, you can then manually record the payment in QuickBooks to zero out your sales tax payable.
