Hi there, Business5. Let's ensure the information you've entered on the form is correct. Let me add some details below.
kindly check these information if they are accurate:
Name format: (Last Name, First Name)
Use IRS Guidelines: Refer to this article for guidelines
Check for Special Characters: Remove any special characters
Confirm Spelling: Double-check the spelling of the taxpayer's name
If everything is correct, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online support team. They can check your account and determine why your form was rejected.
Here's how:
Login to QBO account.
Click the Help icon.
Select the Search tab.
Enter Contact Support in the search field section.
While I wish I could resolve this directly, the best course of action is to get in touch with our Live Support Team again, Lilly.
Since you've already tried to refile the form and still get the same error, our team can help you dig deeper into this matter. They're equipped with tools that can safely pinpoint the root cause of this issue.
Let me share these steps so you can seamlessly reconnect with our Live Support Experts:
Go to the Help icon and then the Search tab.
Type "Contact Us" keyword in the designated field. Then, press the Enter button on your keyboard.
Click the Contact Us button once it appears on your screen.
Choose how you'd like to connect with our live experts and follow its dedicated on-screen processes.
I am also having this problem out of the blue. I've been submitting these forms through QBO for several years and it's been setup properly. I have been unable to get ahold of QBO Support for a week. I get to the point that it says a person will be on soon and no one shows up.
