Hi there, @Girlie2. The simplest way to view your Sales Tax Returns for prior years in QuickBooks Online is to go to All Apps, then select the Sales Tax section. From there, open the Sales tax returns page, and use the filters to display the specific returns you’d like to see.

Additionally, you can view this helpful article that explains how to manage sales tax payments in the Tax Center: Manage Sales Tax Payments.

Hi, @Girlie2. I just wanted to follow up to check if the resolution we provided helped resolve your issue.

Please let us know if everything is now working as expected or if you’re still experiencing any problems. We’ll be glad to assist further if needed.

That doesn't work.

My QBO Sales tax page says any date prior to Jan 2025 is invalid, but I need to check the 4th qtr 2024 tax liabilities to correct an amount.

How do I see sales tax info for any year prior to 2025?

Why did this change, and how does it make anything easier?

Did you ever get a resolution to this?  I have the same problem... anything before 1/1/2025 has vanished.  How does a bookkeeping program just lock you out of sales tax returns that are more than a year and a half old??  What do we do?
