Hi, @d. Thanks for reaching out.

The pop-up notification you're seeing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) refers to a change that Intuit announced regarding how and where W-9 forms are handled within the platform. This notification is currently not removable within QBO settings.

You can temporarily disregard the notification by clicking X or No, thanks each time it appears.

If the issue persists after clearing those options and given that you've been experiencing it for a year now, it could be related to stored browser data or a cached notification. Refreshing your system can resolve repetitive pop-ups.

To do this, clear your browser cache and cookies to remove unusual bugs or use another supported browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer to block this message entirely, you can use a pop-up blocker extension in your browser to manage such pop-ups more effectively.

For Google Chrome and Mozilla browsers, here's how:

  1. Click the Lock icon to the left of the address bar.

  2. Select Site Settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover over the Pop-ups and Redirects section, and select Block from the drop-down menu.

For Safari browser:

  1. Open a Safari browser.
  2. Click Safari, then Preferences.
  3. Select Websites at the top, then Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar.
  4. Click on Block in the pop-up menu that appears for the website.
