Can I manually input the tax rate on my expenses please?

It's nice to have you post in our Community forum, Anna. Submitting your QuickBooks-related concerns is greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to help you solve your problem in QuickBooks Online.

You can add many custom tax rates based on your items, so every time you make your expense transactions, you can directly choose it in the VAT column. I'll show you how:

1. Go to Taxes.
2. Select Add Tax, then choose Custom tax.
3. Fill out the necessary fields. 
4. Hit Save.
