Can Quickbooks automatically add invoice ref number so they are in sequence?

Are you referring to the receive payment reference number or the invoice number itself?The invoice number will be sequential based on the last number entered automatically or use QB numbering automatically.The payment reference number is not automated so it would be a case of manually entering the information.
