Dashboard says I have two transactions to review

I did a bank update and received two transactions. I reviewed/added and reconciled.

The dashboard still tells me I have two to review. If I click on "Review your transactions" the list is empty.

SOLUTION....I had this problem constantly. Always telling me I had transactions to review, but when when I look at my accounts in QBSE there was nothing. SOLUTION... instead of just looking at the current tax year, select ALL years. I found that the bank connection had imported loads of 'very old' transactions from several years ago (before I even became self employed) and these where indeed un reviewed. They don't normally show up as they are not in any of my active tax years, but switching to ALL years shows these old transactions. I simply selected them all and marked them as personal (or ignore or delete). And all is fine. So that was the issue, very old bank transactions, prior to my current accounting years. You can clear your browser’s cache to remove this prompt, @kpturner.

It's possible that piled-up cache in your regular browser caused this unusual behavior. You can clear your current browser’s cache to resolve this.

Go to your account by using a private browser or an incognito window. If it works fine, clear the cache in the one that you're currently using.

Here’s how to go incognito or use a private browser:

For Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
For Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.

It isn't anything to do with the browser cache. If that was the case then it would only impact one browser, but in this case it happens even if I go to a different browser (like Edge) that I have never before used with QBO. Even if I open an incognito browser tab the problem persists.

Seems to me it is more likely an issue with data stored by the application in localStorage (which persists even in incognito tabs).

I appreciate you for performing the steps provided by my peer above. I've got another troubleshooting steps that we can try to get this issue sorted out.

We can try to run a manual update on your bank account using a private window. This will help us refresh the data of your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online and help fix bank-related issues in the system.

To do that:

Go to the Banking menu at the left pane.
Refer to the Banking tab.
Select the bank account that your working with.
Hit on the Update button.

If it works fine, you can access your account on your regular browser and clear its cache again.

However, if the problem continues, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They have advanced tools like the remote-viewing session that can help identify the root cause of this hurdle. They can also create an investigation ticket if necessary.
