Hi there, @ELM tree. I'm here to help you create projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To start, may I know the QBO version you're using? You can only create projects if you've subscribed to QBO Plus or Advanced and if you have a QBO for Accountant account. To verify, go to the Billing & Subscription page.
If verified that you use the correct version, let's check if the feature is turned off. Then, turn it on to proceed in creating a project. Refer to the steps below:
Navigate to the Settings menu and select Accounts and Settings.
Next, select the Advanced tab.
Then, look for the Projects section and select Edit to expand it
Click the switch to turn on Organise all job-related activity in one place.
If you're using QBO Simple Start or Essentials the option to create a project is unavailable. You may want to upgrade your subscription to have this option.
