How and where do I put the subsistence for meals while working away from home , £5 breakfast/lunch and £15 evening meal ?uk based advice please

You would just create an expenses to show these meals in your quickbooks and add a category for meals away. Plus icon>under suppliers is expense> fill in the details and can add a category for the food as meals away.
