Question

How can I see available stock when I enter a new estimate? It's like the system does not take open estimates into consideration.

Hi ls-plus-plus-dk, thanks for joining the Community - the qty on hand and low stock alert levels will display when the cursor is hovered over the QTY field on the estimate. Creating an estimate won't impact your stock levels - this will only change once the invoice is created. 🙂

Okay - but right now, I have like 10 estimates on going for approx. 10-15 different item numbers and as the estimates don't have impact on the stock quantities - how will I know if I have sufficient stock to cover all estimates? Invoices are not made until 2 weeks after the estimate is entered. Right now, I am working "blindly".

Do you have an upcoming solution in Quickbooks?

Do you have an upgraded system where it works?

Hi ls-plus-plus-dk, this is currently working as designed as the estimates are non-posting and do not affect any accounting or inventory. We appreciate it would be helpful to have an option to view the stock level with estimates included and we'd be grateful if you could submit feedback for this by clicking the Cog > Feedback in your account.
