If you are using QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) and your clients want to pay their own QuickBooks subscription, you can give them a direct discount. Then, let them handle their billing and subscription where they need to add their payment information before the 30-day trial period ends to continue using the discount. Here's how:
In the QuickBooks section, click Direct discount (we bill your client). This gives your client a discount, but they will pay for their subscription to QuickBooks.
If you also plan to do admin work for your client, choose the Make me the primary admin checkbox.
When you're ready, press Save.
QuickBooks connects their accounts and adds them to your client list where you can review and make edits to their books. If you have any clients without a subscription plan and you want to offer them a direct discount, let them handle their billing and subscription. Let me guide you on how:
