We'll be happy share some guidance on backdating transactions in QuickBooks Online.
To do this, you can download a file from your bank to upload into QBO. Most banks CSV format will differ slightly, so you'll need to check the formatting so that it matches our accepted 3-column or 4 column formats (see here).
Tips: If possible, pick the QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format from your online bank. If you’re a Mac user, make sure to save the file as Windows CSV file.
Once your file is formatted, you can upload this in QuickBooks. For accounts connected to online banking, go to Transactions then select Bank Transactions > Select the tile for the account you want to upload transactions into > Select the drop-down beside Link account then Upload file.
If your account is not connected yet to online banking, select Settings > Import data > Bank data (Take me there).
