I will shortly have approximately 200 customers who I need to invoice the same amount on a monthly basis. Is there a way I can do this on a bulk invoicing basis?

There is no way to automatically send invoices in bulk. You can set up recurring  transactions however this would be on an individual basis or create invoices and then send the in bulk, navigate to the sales > invoices > select the invoices you want to send/select the box to the left of the invoice > batch actions > send invoices
