Im a self employed mechanic. Is there a way I can link receipts from parts i've bought to a customers payment/invoice?

The option to add this captured receipt to billable is unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed version. You can only capture and categorize the receipt to either personal or business. I'd suggest upgrading your subscription to the higher version to make the receipt billable.
