I know a way where you can exclude other fields that aren't that important in your sales forms, Accounts.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can customize the contents and fields within invoice transactions. To do this, navigate to the Gear icon and choose Custom form styles. If you want to remove the custom field from your form, you can go to the Custom Fields, then edit and exclude it.
Follow the steps below:
If you want to edit the Custom Form Styles:
Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner and choose All lists.
Click Custom Form Styles.
Press the New style dropdown located at the upper right corner.
Choose a transaction.
Tap the Content tab, and tap a section you want to edit.
Untick if you don't like the field to be seen in your forms.
Afterwards, you can click Done.
If you want to remove the Custom field:
Go to the Gear icon and choose All lists.
Click Custom Fields.
Under the Actions column, press the dropdown beside the Edit option if you'd like to make it inactive. Click Edit if not.
Within the Edit custom field window, untick the transactions you want to remove from your forms.
