Have you selected a payment method on the sales receipt? Do you still get that error message? Can you try clearing your cache and cookies, to all time, close the browser down, reload it does the same thing still happen? If so can you send us a screenshot of the whole page and the error so we can look into it more for you thanks.
So I've clicked on create a new sales receipt however when it comes to.selct method it says no method so I have no option to click cash card etc. It won't let me take a screen shot. I have tried closing the app and reloading but doesn't work still, thank you!

The same thing with what Ashleigh1 said, you'll want to clear your app's cache, update, or even re-install it to start fresh. If the same thing happens, please contact our QBO Support to report this behavior, and they can use more tools to investigate this further.
Tap the Main Menu icon and then Settings (cog wheel).
Choose Help and Support.
Enter a summary of your concern and click Continue.
Choose a way to connect.
On the other hand, you can also check out some references for QBO on the main support page should you need them in the future. Just click More topics to expand the list.
