As a UK VAT company we now have to register for VAT in DE. We use QB to file UK VAT. What is the best way to set the DE VAT in QB, do we just create a new tax agency?

We're unable to create a new tax agency in QBO UK. All vat amounts are automatically defaulted to HMRC. 

You'll want to consider using a third-party app that can be integrated in QuickBooks Online. Here's how to look for an app:

1. Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
2. Type in "Tax" in the Search bar.
3. You can also click the drop-down list for Browse category and select a category.
