We can access our prior VAT returns through the Taxes page, emmacfrith.

Though we can view the details of the prior VAT returns, we won't be able to print or save them directly from this page. The only way would be to screenshot the page and save it manually.

  1. Click Taxes on the left menu and go to the Returns section.
  2. Select Filed as the status of the return.
  3. Click View Summary.
  4. Screenshot the page and save it manually.

Alternatively, we can pull VAT reports which you can print and save. However, they won't show the exact returns that were submitted to HMRC. We can use the VAT Detail and the VAT exception reports.

  1. Click Reports on the left menu and go to the Standard section.
  2. Scroll-down to Manage VAT.
  3. Select VAT Detail Report or VAT Exception Report.

  4. Customise the report if necessary.

  5. Export to Excel or PDF.

  6. Save it on your computer manually.
