First time I have used this and on my VAT return the amounts in boxes 1,2 and 4 are a mistake I am trying to correct i need to delete them and start again please

Hello this is my first time on Quick books, I connected to HMRC to do my vat return, on boxes 1,2 and 4 i have put in the wrong amounts and I need to zero them and start again but it doesn't let me do this, i have not submitted it to HMRC yet as it is incorrect and I would like to know how i can correct this error

Hi info-decandspray Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. The transactions that you've entered into your account and added a VAT code to are what make up the amounts in these boxes. If the amounts are incorrect then you can click into the amount showing in the amount column, highlighted in blue, and the transactions will appear in the VAT detail report. You will then be able to select each transaction and amend or delete accordingly.
