Hi I have followed the VAT file payment instructions but now need to edit the date of the VAT payment as I made an error. How do I do this? Thanks.

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

You will need to delete and recreate the payment. You can do this by going to the Taxes tab, then select Payments. Click on the payment you need to edit and select Delete at the bottom of the window. Once you have done this, recreate the payment as you did originally.
