How can I change the end date on my NTD VAT screen (should be quarterly not monthly)

Hello Alan, Welcome to the Community 👋, Would this be your first VAT return? In the settings withing the VAT page what have you selected to show when you submit your VAT returns have you got it set up to Monthly? Are you able to go into prepare return and amend the ending date? Will this allow you? thanks

Can you please help, I need to submit 1 month VAT return for October has we are changing our vat number from November onwards, every time I try and submit the report, he keeps coming back with the 3 months Oct, Nov and Dec.

I'll walk you through how you can change your VAT filing frequency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

Go to the Taxes tab.
Click the Edit VAT drop-down menu.
Select Edit settings.
Change the I submit VAT returns drop-down menu to Monthly.
Ensure other fields have the correct information and make changes if necessary.
Hit Save.
