How do i change my VAT quarter date in QuickBooks desktop pro?

Hi Team,

 

We recently moved from QB Enterprise to QB Premier, and we would like to change the VAT quarter dates while filing to HMRC. Any suggestions on how to change the VAT quarter period in QuickBooks Premier?

Hello Chris_Atlantic, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

If you go to Suppliers > Supplier Centre > HMRC VAT > edit the supplier > VAT Settings you can make the changes there.

    Thanks for the swift response @Ashleigh1 so if i change the period, will the same reflect when filing to HMRC VAT - File VAT MTD window?

    Hello chris_Atlantic, It would depend on what periods are open with HMRC for MTD. Have you filed anything within desktop at all?
