I can't file my company's VAT Return and assume that it relates to the 18 month refresher. I have done the steps to reactivate, but not reset. What is likely time delay?

So it should reauthorise straight away for you, but if there is a delay it will be on HMRC's end and not ours so might be worth getting in touch with HMRC and seeing what they can see on there end.
