Retrospective vat registration from 1 June 2019. Setting up vat, QB defaults to June to August 2020. How do I file earlier returns?

Hi jon.davies If you have Making Tax Digital activated we recommend that you de-activate it. As long as you have not marked any periods as filed after the return you want to account for and you've entered all the transactions relating to the period you've filed you can select the prepare rerun option on the open VAT period and amend the dates fields accordingly and select the drop down arrow to the right of submit return and select mark as filed.
