What journal can be made to clear VAT Suspense account if Vat return has been submitted via different software. Refund from HMRS has been allocated to Vat suspense.

Have you marked the period as filed in QuickBooks? If you have you can use the drop down menu to the right of the filed period to record refund > enter the relevant information, bank account the refund was paid to > the date and the amount.
