You can pay bills using the Pay Bills feature, mark individual bills as paid, or use QuickBooks Bill Pay.
If you are paying multiple bills at once and want to record them together, you can use the traditional Pay Bills workflow. Here's how:
Go to +Create, then click Pay bills.
Choose your funding account in the Payment account dropdown.
Put a checkmark for the specific bills you want to settle.
Click Save to pay.
However, if you only want to pay bills individually, you can mark them as paid in the Bills section. Here's how:
Go to All apps.
Click Expenses & Bills, then select Bills.
Under the Unpaid tab, locate and choose the bill you want to pay.
Hit Mark as paid, then a new window will appear.
Click Save and close to pay.
Alternatively, you can streamline your accounts payable by adding QuickBooks Bill Pay as a separate subscription service to your QuickBooks Online account. Depending on the tier you choose, this built-in solution allows you to manage vendor payments.
