Hi,  I have several products that I sell, let's say product A and product B. Product A and B are very similar with similar prices. Both products are sold within the UK to another company that resells them. Product A is resold within the UK, so I sell product A in GBP. Product B is resold in Europe, so the British company that resells it wants the invoice in EUR. How do I do that?

Hi, Just started using quickbooks got to finalise books for tax return. Im a driving instructor and want to add a weekly average milage how do I do this as I have not tracked milage for each trip. My previous accountant always put an average milage, never asked me to track each day or lesson. We knew milage of work car beginning of year then end of year nad calculated that way. Vehicle only used for work no personal use.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie so patience is necessary : ) I recently set up as a sole trader (5th Jan) and have received my first payment of £2900 on 18th Jan, which I have logged as business income.  When do my tax/NI estimates start to show? I was hoping that I would be able to use Quickbooks to estimate how much money I need to put aside each month for self-assessment. Probably a very simple answer but totally clueless!

Will the charity set up in QBO support coding transactions into 4 categories (Nominal, Project, Department and Funds) We use Sage which has these 4 categories but its difficult to input all transactions and/or get reports

Hi, I understand that QB Online if currently unable to send email from an Office 365 email address and can only send from a generic QB email address or for a gmail address. 1.  Is the above still correct?2.  Are there any third party solutions to facilitate sending email from an Office 365 email address? Many thanks.

I last updated my accounts in July 2013 when all was well. I have just tried to open the software but there is a message that Desktop no longer works. I have been advised by telephone to download a trial version and then I will have to export my data as a csv file. I really need a bit more information / help than this. Is it possible to transfer the data (and historic) to an online version?This is becoming quite urgent now and has come out of the blue.Alan

Hi. Is there a way in which I can tell QuickBooks not to deduct basic tax from my income. My basic tax rate is already deducted by my contractor so QuickBooks is basically taxing income that is already taxed, I just want it to calculate any higher rate income.

HiI have been running Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018 for a few years now. My hard drive was failing so I needed to reload my PC. So I have my license, product key and compay data files. But am experiencing an issue on online activation. Is there anyone that can assist?Unfortunately the Tool Hub hasn't been able to correct this issue. QB then asks me to register. I fill in a form regarding company information then another regarding current or previous accounting software. Once that is done it gives the following message: Quickbooks online registration process did not finish. Please try to register again. If you continue to have problems registering online, select "Skip online check and register by phone" from the registration dialog.My internet connection is great, so I know that isn't the problem. QB Desktop support has been discontinued in my country (South Africa) which is why I am reaching out here. Thank you so so much for your help!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!!

How do I track mileage for specific jobs that are not billed to customer? Desktop version was very simple with a dropdown box with customer list to assign the mileage to. 

Hi, Can anyone confirm if you're able to import additional nominals into the chart of accounts? I don't want to import them if it overwrites the accounts already there - just in case!I've got 42 codes to set up so I could do with being able to upload rather than set them up manually. They're only set up with account names, no nominal codes are there.Thanks,Lindsey

I have create an estimate template where I want to offer discounts on certain items and not on others. I want this to be a percentage discount. I have created a discount item and added it below the items I want to discount and then subtotal after. All well and good but I cannot make the discount to be a percentage just an amount. I want the discount item to calculate the percentage discount for all the items I want to discount not have to calculate it and add the amount. Can anyone helpp

We recently had some assets donated to us from another company (some laptops and a phone) What is the best way to record these assets in QBO? I have followed the instructions for in-kind donations, and the value is correctly appearing in the 'Computer equipment additions at cost' ledger, but the donations are also marked as income on the P+L sheet, but not then as expenses. This causes our p/l figure to seemingly be inflated?
