Hi all,I've got a UK QuickBooks Advanced subscription and emails aren't delivering at all from QuickBooks (sales invoices, statements, receipts etc)I've been battling with QuickBooks Support who have clearly confirmed that QuickBooks is designed to send emails by spoofing our company email address which with any secure email setup will quite rightly have anti-spoofing measures in place and QuickBooks's 'solution' is to remove the spoofing security which is obviously not an option.They are totally uninterested in looking at this or admitting malpractice - has anyone else had this issue or have any recommendations of where to escalate this to?Thanks in advance!

QBO wish list changes from QBDT (UK)Having had to say goodbye to QBDT to QBO and read so many posts on here about wanting things changed only to be told to use the Feedback button that clearly seems to fall on deaf ears, how about use this post as a wish list for all those upset/angry UK customers in an attempt to win them back and make them feel a bit better with using QBO which to be honest needs a god dam revamp and some……..I’ll start with my wish/need list, please feel free to add to this in order to get someone to listen, maybe we might actually get heard and see some improvements..1) Too many mouse clicks to do a simple thing, example, creating an invoice or purchase order – One click to activate the Item/Description column, then another click to get items listed before you can even enter any text? – Pointless2) I’m using a 24” screen, yet 2/3rds of the screen for creating an invoice or purchase order is taken up with an annoying “Payment Options” and one hell of an annoying cons
I have followed the steps in the guides for QBO about how to send remittance advice (expenses -> filter for bill payments -> batch actions -> send remittance advice). However, that option simply doesn't exist in my account/for my access settings. Is there a setting somewhere I need to turn on to be able to do that? Or does paying bills via QBO automatically send remittance advice once the payment is initiated?
Has any one found a way to migrate custom fields. I am using Desktop Pro and am looking at Online Advanced. I have managed to recreate the custom fields in the online version. I can export the relevant information using Zed Axis required to fill these fields but can't seem to find anyway to be able to map an import to bring the information across.
Let me guess there is no way top add markup to estimated items... No custom columnsUtter waste of time.. more i use this crap the more i find is missing from the desktop!!! WHY are you forcing me to use this watered down version ? FFS this is rediculous!

Yes it's me, I'm back again. Thanks for all your suggestions last week, I decided to start all over again with the data export tool.I have uploaded my company file successfully, I think. So I now press continue and I get this message. What am I doing wrong?
We have recently had to move from QB Desktop (in the UK) and I'm now trying to look at the Data Export Tool but it doesn't seem to be working. Do we need to use this tool just once to export our data somewhere that we can look at it, or do we use it at any time that we need to look up something from the old data?I appear to have got as far as uploading the data file (Step 2 on the QB instructions) but cannot move any further than this? I get a screen saying "Make sure we got the right company file" but can't click continue?What else should I be doing? What else do I need to do? Also despite all the emails saying that QB Desktop will discontinue on 30th June 2023 if I try to open my old Desktop system today it says "QB Desktop has reached the expiration date and will no longer open company files"All in all it's a bit of a shambles really. Has anyone had any luck with this please?

Hi, We are thinking of converting from Desktop to Online and have noted that the attachments can't be converted.Has anyone come up with a work around for this as we don't have the paper copies now? I've seen where the files are saved but they are all in individual folders that are titled with a random series of letters and numbers so it's not like we can say what they are without going into each folder. Is there anywhere on Desktop this folder info is stored that we could export to create a mapping of what is where? Thanks

Hi, I'm wondering if anybody could help me? I'm currently taking on a building project which I have had an estimate accepted and the work is currently underway. I have invoices linked to this estimate however I need to reduce the estimate because I have a plumber who has supplied the bathroom suite and part labour. I can't seem to work out how to do this, as when I reduce the relevant line number, the remaining subtotal doesn't appear to change from the existing estimate. Only the total estimate figure.

As a UK charity, we keep records of three types of equity - Restricted funds, Designated funds and Unrestricted funds. At the year-end, we need to wrap these up into separate accounts to show the retained funds of each type (to prove to the Charity Commission we only use restricted funds within their restrictions). However, QBO only allows one "Retained Earnings" account. Has anyone got a solution or workaround for this?
