Usually, qbx files can only be open using an accountant version of QuickBooks. Please ensure that your accountant uses the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Accountant version to open the file successfully. 

If the error continues after opening the file using QBDT Accountant, you can try preparing the file again to isolate the issue. Before that, perform these steps to fix common issues within your file:

1. Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop. The process self-identifies and self-resolves the most commonly known data issues within your company file.
2. Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This way, you can keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes.
