Batch Payments to Invoices in Quickbooks Desktop

Hello Anna, I'll outline two scenarios to help you apply or match your students' payments to their invoices.

If this is a lump sum payment and you want to apply it to multiple invoices, you'll first need to wait for it to appear in your bank feeds. 

Once it does, you can match it to the existing invoices in QuickBooks Desktop by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Banking menu and select Bank Feeds.
2. From the Bank Feed Center, choose the bank account that received the payment.
3. Click on the Transactions List and locate the lump sum payment you want to match.
4. Next to the payment, click the Select dropdown and choose Match to existing transaction.
5. A new screen will appear, allowing you to select multiple existing invoices that this payment covers.
6. Once you've selected all applicable invoices, hit Confirm Match.

However, if you have multiple separate payments that need to be applied to multiple invoices, you'll have to match them manually. QuickBooks Desktop does not currently offer a feature to batch apply payments to invoices.
