Can you turn off the Class function after you have started it?

Hi ostromar,

 

QuickBooks Online has a ton a features and we know that sometimes you'll need them and sometimes you might not. I can help with getting your class function turned off.

 

When you turn on your class function you can always turn it back off by going to: Gear>Accounts and Settings>Advanced. From there you can turn the class function on or off any time you want. Once it is turned off those you wont be able to search by class or modify reports by class till it's turned back on.

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong spot, but I don't see an option to turn off class function in the advanced settings for QBOA.   Thanks!

Hi there lmcnl,

 

Making sure your books are well organized is an important part of bookkeeping. The class tracking feature is a great way to be able to categorize transactions in more detail. I can provide some assistance with this.

 

When looking at a regular QuickBooks Online account, this feature is located within the Advanced Settings. When it comes to QuickBooks Online Accountant accounts, you'll find the option to turn on class tracking located within the Company subsection of the Company Settings.
