I can help you retrieve an inactivated account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), gargi.

If you inactivate an account, its transactions remain in the Chart of accounts (COA) to retain accurate financial history. You can reactivate it by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of accounts.
  2. If the inactivated account is not visible on the list, click the Mini-Gear icon.
  3. Enable Include inactive. After this, the inactive account will reappear.
  4. Click the Make active button under the Action column to reenable the account.

However, if it was deleted by merging it to another account, this action is irreversible. You'll need to recreate the account and refer to your bank statement to enter its historical transactions if needed.

Finally, you can also connect your banks to online banking from the COA page. It's also essential to reconcile your accounts regularly to ensure the preciseness of your entries in QuickBooks.
