I accidentally imported a client into my accountant account. How do I delete it?

I accidentally imported a client into my accountant account instead of as a client. I have since added them as a client but I need to delete all their files out of my accountant account. Is there an easy way to do this????

Hi netincomebookkee.

 

Adding a client to your QuickBooks Online Accountant account is a great way to be able to log in and help with their books whenever they need you to. I can help go over how to delete information in your accountant account if you accidentally import your clients information.

 

If you accidentally imported your clients information into your own accountant account the only way to remove it would be to delete the transactions manually and make any account from it inactive.
