I have payroll transactions from some employees that have gone to the wrong account, what is the fastest/easist way to move them?

It's important that all your payroll information is entered correctly so that your books are balanced. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a tool that can help you with the calculation of your employees' pay for the hours they worked. I can point you in the right direction to change how payroll affects the books.

To change the accounts affected by payroll, go to the Gear Icon and then Payroll Settings. Select the Accounting section, and click on the pencil beside the account to make this change. This change is only for future transactions, so if you want to update previous transactions to reflect the accounts chosen, click on the pencil beside Update existing transactions to set a date.
