I apologize if this question has been answered before but I could not find an answer in my lengthy search. Our (utility) company bills all of our customers on a monthly basis, between the 1st and 4th of the month. The invoices are due at the end of the month; for example, if we bill on April 2nd the due date for the invoice would be April 30th. How are the due date terms set for the end of the month in Quickbooks Desktop?
How do i go ensure that my data will be kept for future use
Hi, Would be very grateful to learn the breakdown of the transactions to make the following scenario make sense: Owner setup Inventory on QB Enterprise (desktop) after he already paid for some of the bills through his personal account. He has been reimbursed for these payments. The inventory was entered without a bill. Now that the bills have come in, how do I enter in and ensure the inventory and bills agree, at the same time recording his reimbursement, and not affecting reconciliation? Actual Accounts associated with this and debit/credit transactions will help immensely to record all this accurately. I feel that the reimbursement has to be recorded initially - but then how do I adjust the inventory and the bill? Would his reimbursement go to a Owner, Other Current Liability Account, and then record from here to the inventory/bill? It's a puzzler to me. Thanks so much! Nancy
Hi There, I am wanting to process as many payments in quickbooks as I can via my linked bank account. I understand that per my banking agreement, I cannot send e-transfers over/or exceed $5000 in one day but am not sure if this limit is applied if I pay via quickbooks. I have some bills that come in that are greater than the $5000 limit as well as daily transactions greater than $5000, how is this managed by Quickbooks. Thanks,
Wanting to use QuickBooks for our hockey team. Each player is charged a player fee for the year. Payments come in from them throughout the year to cover this amount. We want to do cash basis accounting. How do I keep track of each players revenue account? Do I set up each player as a customer?? Any help is appreciated.
I scanned a document and saved as a .pdf file. I then attached it to a customer's account. (a few years ago). I went to open that attachment and I am getting the following error message..use the appropriate form (e.g. Invoice, Sales Receipt, Bill) to enter this transaction. <br><br><ahref="qbks2://qbw:qbhelp?action=show&hapid=HAP_STAX_ERRMSGE_REGISTER_USE_FORM_INTL&scope=topic&mode=default">Tell me more about this issue</a> How do I access my misc document that I've attached to the customer's account? It was saved for future use, which I now need.
I have updated my billing information
I am flipping my employees from cheque to direct deposit. They are paid every other Friday and the pay period normally covers 10 days (cuts off one day before pay day). See the calendar dates below. I want to keep that pay schedule but the pay period now needs to cut off sooner to allow the 2 days extra processing time for direct deposit. In effect, there will be an "interim" pay period of 8 days. When I updated the pay schedule to end on July 30, QuickBooks kept the ten-day pay period and set the pay period from July 17 to July 30 but the employees have already been paid for July 17 and 18. I need to create a custom pay schedule that is only 8 days for the interim period. Is that possible? How do you change employees from cheque to direct deposit and allow for the extra processing time?Last pay period Jul 5 – Jul 18 > paid Jul 19 (Friday to Thursday–10 days, run cheques Friday) Interim pay period Jul 19 – Jul 30 > paid Aug 2 (Fri to Tuesday–8 days, submit Wed; paid Friday) New p
CHANGE REQUEST: Timestamps on the online reports show my time zone (GMT-4). Timestamps on exported Excel spreadsheets and PDF files use GMT-7 (Pacific) time zone instead of local time zone (this is hardcoded into the system). Therefore online version of report shows a different timestamp than exported file or PDF. (see Case #536-638-988) (Yes, I understand that the minutes:seconds may differ slightly due to time lapse to generate the report). Please modify QBO to export reports to Excel or generate PDF files with proper timestamps for local timezone.
CHANGE REQUEST In "Receive Payment" screen to apply credits, system displays message "Do you want to leave without saving?". However, this is an inappropriate message for users (it just means that the screen will be refreshed with the selected credits, it does not mean that the user will leave the "Receive Payment" function.) (see Case #536-625-477) Redesign the user interface to be appropriate for user experience, not for program code.
