Glad to see you in Community. Welcome! If you've recently set up your QuickBooks Self Employed account, you'll be able to wipe the data and start fresh, as long as it's within 60 days. There's also a way to clear the transactions in just a few steps. I'd be happy to guide you through the process.
You can't delete transactions that have been downloaded from your bank, but you can exclude them. They won't be included as part of tax calculations or financial reports, because QuickBooks simply ignores them.
To Exclude the transactions, follow these steps:
On a web browser
1. Go to the Transactions menu
2. Select the transaction you want to exclude to expand the view
3. Checkbox Exclude this transaction
4. Hit Save
On an iPhone or iPad (iOS) or Android phone or tablet
1. Go to the Transactions menu (On Android, select the menu ☰ icon and then Transactions)
2. Select the transaction you want to exclude
3. Select Exclude transaction
If you need to review the excluded transactions, go to the Transaction menu, click on the Type ▼ dropdown and then Excluded
For any transactions that you've manually added, you can Delete them. Here's how:
On a web browser
1. From the Transactions menu
2. Select the transaction you want to delete to expand the view
3. Hit Delete
On an iPhone or iPad (iOS) or Android phone or tablet
1. From to the Transactions menu. (On Android, select the menu ☰ icon and then Transactions)
2. Select the transaction you want to delete
3. Hit Delete transaction
If you'd prefer to start over, Go to your Home page, in the URL on your browser, remove the word home and replace it with purgecompany. You'll navigate through the prompts to complete the process.
Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions. We'd love to help!
