Mistakes like these are common but don't worry, I'll be happy to give you a hand with this. QuickBooks is an easy to use program which helps you save time for the things you love.
You can purge your QBO account to wipe your current files, so you can start over with new company data. It's important to keep in mind that you can only use this feature if your account has been active within 90 days of signing up.
The next screen will provide a summary of the items being deleted. To confirm that you understand the data will be deleted, you must type in the word Yes and select OK.
However, if your account is past the 90 days, you can either delete and recreate your transactions or cancel your account. To cancel the account, follow these steps:
Log in to your QBO account..
Click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
Hit Cancel found at the right of the Subscription status line.
Follow the on-screen instructions and we'll walk you through the rest.
If you prefer to set up a new account, I recommend checking out our current plans using this link here. Let me know if this info helps. I'll be one message away. :)
