ROE, the BLK form puts M08 - Dismissal/Terminated within probationary period to just M Dismissal.  Can you please fix this?

Thank you

We need to update the employee's employment details in the Employee Profile to correct the ROE termination code to M08 - Dismissal/Terminated within probationary period.

Here's how:

  1. Go to All apps, select Payroll, and then click on Employees.
  2. Select the desired employee from the list.
  3. Click the Action drop-down menu, then select Change Status.
  4. Under the Status section, change the employee's status from Active to Terminated.
  5. Select a reason for the status change from the drop-down menu. Note: Make sure to choose M08 - Dismissal/Terminated within probationary period.
  6. Enter their last day of work.
  7. Click Save. When the pop-up window asks if you would like to create the employee's ROE, select Continue.

You can follow these step-by-step instructions to create, view, and file an ROE: Create a Record of Employment (ROE).

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

Since the BLK upload is causing code changes incorrectly on the ROE website, please contact Service Canada for further assistance, as this issue is occurring on their side.
