We are setting up a second location. Can we setup security by location code OR must I setup a new instance ( subscription ) of QBO to fulfill this requirement?

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks Online is a great program that gives you the ability to easily track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to help.

At this time, the option to limit user access based on location isn't available. You can create a second account (subscription) with users for location 2 so that they don't have the ability to see the books for Location 1. I encourage you to reach out to our sales team at 1-888-829-8589 to create the second account.
