When i try to import the cvs file with transactions prior to the date that quickbooks goes back to, nothing will show up. why will it not let me add them?

QBO is date driven in many areas, historical entries before the date can not exist as a result.

and unless you are starting a brand new company file, any historical entry you could make will impact on current balances
